One of the things I love about quilting is teaching others and seeing them develop a passion for the art of quilting. I have wanted to add classes to this site ever since I established it. Now, during the continued time of "social distancing" due to the 2020 Covid-19 virus, is the time for me to set these plans into action.

I have a group of ladies that are beginning quilters and we have been doing a block-of-the-week as a learning experience. Each block is a learning experience to sew together a block, use a new technique, learn a new tool, or practice what has been previously learned. These blocks can be sewn together as a sampler quilt, or used to make individual projects. I am making mine into a quilt.
These blocks are from books that I have had for years that were initially made by using templates. I have redesigned the directions using today's rotary cutting tools.
