My Story
Herring House Quilting opened for business in August, 2016. I provide a computerized longarm quilting service using the Gammill Statler Stitcher Longarm Quilting System. Welcome to my site.
I am Barbara Herring. I have been actively involved in the quilting process since 1988: piecing, designing, quilting by hand and domestic machine, teaching, and sharing my love of every step of the quilting process. In 1977 I began using computer technology in my first career. I was able to begin with a “dumb terminal” and progress through the years to the present age of web based programs and systems. I am so excited to move into my dream of quilting as a business by establishing my computerized quilting business.
I am also venturing into the area of designing and maintaining my website. So this site is a work in progress.
Quilting Designs
With computerized quilting there are unlimited designs that you can choose for your quilt. I offer edge-to-edge quilting, which is quilting one pattern over the entire quilt top, and computerized custom quilting, which is quilting a variety of patterns over the quilt top.
