Happy Mother’s Day to all moms, especially those that quilt! Hope you had a little time today to sit and rest with a quilting project.
Wow. I knew I had been busy but did not realize how long it has been since I made a post to this site. My part time job had moved back to almost full time the last few months due to a special project I have been working on. I am hoping to finish that up this week and get back to part time. And I hope that means doing a better job of updating my website.
I just uploaded a few new patterns to my Available Designs Page. From Anne Bright: Atta Boy and Flutter Byes. From My Creative Stitches: Charm Bracelet, Hibiscus Hideaway, Fancy Floral, Lucky, and Spring Shuffle.
I have been working my quilting business also. Here are a few of the quilts I have done for customers.
Quilts of Honor for my guild.
This one for a friend is a fun quilt. She used pieces of her son’s boxer shorts from when he was a kid. I quilted this for her and also did the binding. Her son is now married. She is hoping to have a grandson soon to give this to.
A bright and fun quilt.
A wonderful “I Spy” quilt using the new Anne Bright “Atta Boy” design.
A sweet kitty quilt.
A lovely blue and white quilt.
And here is a quilt I have finished for me. A friend gave me a charm pack. I just used the “charms” for the center and found some of the same fabrics to do wide borders to show off the quilting design, Anne Bright’s Masterpiece. It’s about 75 inches square.
This week I will do a first for me. I will be quilting a t-shirt quilt. I have to admit I have a fear of quilting it. Praying I do a good job.
