Here are a few of the quilts I quilted this month.
This first one was only 18 inches square. I used the pattern Harvest Time by Anne Bright.
For this sailboat quilt I used the pattern West Wind by My Creative Stitches.
And for this quilt I used the pattern Pretty Posies by Tammy Oberlin of TK Quilting.
The following quilt is one that I made for a friend. It is from a kit, with a panel for the center and beautiful vibrant fabrics pieced into the sides and borders. The quilting design is Extensions by Anne Bright. It is to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of my friend’s baby girl. This sweet baby died the day before she was to be born. Our group of Bible study “sisters” wanted to do something for her. I did finish this a few months past the anniversary, but we are still remembering baby’s one year anniversary with her heavenly Father.
I have just finished quilting a quilt for a friend that used her son’s boxer shorts from when he was little. He is now married, not expecting a baby yet, but she wants to be prepared for the time when she will be a grandmother. I am doing the binding for her also, so I will post the finished quilt. This one goes back to our quilting heritage of using scraps for quilts.
I have three other quilts lined up on my machine to do, so off to do more fun work! Hope you have a happy week of quilting!
