The guild I belong to is the Dogwood Quilter’s Guild that meets in Siloam Springs, AR. Every year we have a Get ‘R Done challenge. We look at our unfinished projects and decide what we want to finish for the year. Each time we get one of our entered projects done, we get to put our name in the “hat” to win prizes, awarded in January. I was trying to be ambitious this year and get things done. So here are my projects for 2018.

This one is the one year memorial quilt for my friend that lost her baby.

This one needed more fabrics, which I now have. It is for my nephew’s wedding gift. He is getting married June 15. It will most likely be a late gift.

I won this one in my guild’s 2017 silent auction in November.

This one was started when I lived in North Little Rock. I moved from there in 1998. This is just supposed to be the center of a bed size quilt.

I have never done a Judy Niemeyer quilt, but this kit was on sale at Keepsake Quilting last year, and I decided I wanted to try. It has a longarm quilting design that I want to order to quilt it.

My second attempt at custom quilting. (I do have the quilting done now, but still have to do the binding.)

Fabrics bought last year to due a fall log cabin quilt.

Finishing the binding on this one.

Another unfinished quilt started prior to 1998. I started quilting this on my domestic machine, and will need to find time to finish it that way. Was working on crosshatching when I set it aside again.

So which of these projects have I finished? Only 2 so far. And May is almost half over!

So off to work on projects.
